Domestic Energy Performance Certificates

PINPoint can supply domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) anywhere in England and Wales at competitive prices and with a quick turnaround (typically 48 hours).

An Energy Performance Certificate must be available for any property that is marketed for either sale or rent. EPCs last for 10 years and are produced by accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA). Whilst marketing can begin before the EPC is produced, it must be ordered and paid for (or a commitment to pay has been made) in advance of any marketing activity. Both the property owner and their agent are responsible for ensuring an EPC is available, and are both liable for fines if the requirement is not met.

Free EPC Offer – We will provide a FREE Energy Performance Certificate with any PINPoint Conveyancing package.

When you agree a sale on your property you will need help from a Solicitor to ensure that your sale proceeds smoothly and without risk. PINPoint exclusively use firms that guarantee you will be dealt with personally, by a qualified and experienced solicitor or licensed conveyancer who will be available for you and your estate agent to contact when necessary. This helps to avoid potentially costly delays, which have proven to increase the possibility of a sale falling through. When you opt for a PINPoint conveyance, we will provide your EPC free of charge, removing any obstacle you might face before marketing begins, and ensuring that your sale, once agreed, proceeds smoothly and cost effectively.

Appointments to carry out the Energy Performance Certificates can be made to suit owners and/or tenants, including in the evenings (subject to enough light being available to take photographs) and at weekends. Surveys typically take approximately 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of the property. All our assessors belong to a Professional Accreditation Scheme that ensures they comply with Government standards and have suitable Professional Indemnity Insurance. Substantial changes or renovations made to a building may require recertification.
